The Masters Tournament is almost here and once again we'll all be watching to see if Tiger can get one win closer to Jack's amazing 6 victories.  Popularity in this sport has a lot to do with it's leaders.  No sport has had the champions like golf has which is why the sport has taken off like it has.  For those of you who have never played the game you are truly missing one the greatest games ever created.  For those that have played, it's easy to understand the greatness of players like Tiger, Jack, Arnold, and others who have consistently won.  For Tiger to have achieved what he has this quick in his career is simply unbelievable.  I'm looking forward to this years competition for many reasons, but mostly to see the greatest player ever put another Major  in his win column.  A lot of people are tired of Tiger winning but the problem is that he has a long way to go, so get used to it.  How could anyone be tired of seeing the best be the best.  I loved watching Jordan and Bird work their magic on the hardwood, the same way I loved watching Elway and Montana pick apart defenses,  but no one person has ever dominated their sport like Tiger has.  Just when the pros think he's human he comes back with another amazing victory or winning streak to prove to them all just how great he is.  So, for those that don't like watching Tiger win, tough.  You can always follow golf on the weeks that he's not in the field because that's the only time he won't be in the hunt. 

On the subject of golf, it looks like the Vona Cup will be fun for us.  Good luck to all.
