Every good boxer needs good men in his corner. Obama just added another one. Former Presidential candidate and current New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson decided to throw his weight behind "A once in a lifetime leader."
If Clinton could've secured the Richardson endorsement it would've been a big deal, not so much for Obama. He's already attracted top-notch Democratic endorsements from Sen. Edward Kennedy, Sen. Chris Dodd, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, Sen. Russ Feingold, Sen. John Kerry, Sen Claire McCaskill, Gov. Janet Napolitano and Raging Bull himself, Robert DeNiro.
Despite all the recent bad publicity for Obama he is still considered the best candidate by the most influential, important, powerful democratic leaders.
A question worth asking is: why didn't Richardson endorse Clinton? Why didn't any of them endorse Clinton?
Just like Obama's thinks his grandmother is a typical white woman, these heavyweight democratic endorsements have become, typical.
So Typical

Today much the same can be said of politicians and people with the highest delegate count. Richardson is a political animal. He obviously believes that Obama will be the nominee and now wants to hitch his wagon to the cause celeb.
So instead of this being an endorsement of Obama as the best candidate for the job, it is more of a chance to grab onto a passing coat tail. One that he thinks now has the opportunity to drag him further up the ladder than Hillary's petty coat tail.
This is true of most of those who have endorsed him from the ranks of the politicos. Richardson just took a little longer to be convinced that Obama would be the better horse to bet on.
Come on Brice... You read way to much into this action and now you are trying to project your own desires on people who are in the game for themselves, not for you.
