We can all agree that every vote in this election counts, and unfortunately for Barrack Obama his arrogance isn't making the conversions any easier. I am referencing a recent public poll conducted by Pew that indicates Americans claim to have heard more about Obama than McCain through the national media and that essentially they are fatigued by Obama's coverage.

The numbers are telling. 48% of the respondents said they have heard too much about Obama. They're not alone. On Sunday, The Washington Post's Deborah Howell said what everyone with an objective eye has been saying since the Democratic primaries, that Obama has been treated to more coverage than his opponents:

"Democrat Barack Obama has had about a 3 to 1 advantage over Republican John McCain in Post Page 1 stories since Obama became his party’s presumptive nominee June 4. Obama has generated a lot of news by being the first African American nominee, and he is less well known than McCain — and therefore there’s more to report on. But the disparity is so wide that it doesn’t look good." (Article)

At least there is still honest and courageous journalists still slugging along within the bowels of the mainstream media who are willing to tell it like it is.

This unfair and unbalanced coverage in favor of the Obama campaign will not go unnoticed by voters, I'm convinced. These revelations in conjunction with the upcoming debates, which will prominently showcase his ineptitude beyond the safety of a stump speech in front of a teleprompter, will have unfavorable consequences for the Obama campaign.

Indeed. he may wish to reconsider the value of his healthy war chest and whether he will continue to use it to drive his message to the nerves of the American public, as the Pew study suggests.
