How much is your vote worth???
Religion is usually the desperate act of the impoverished or people who have no hope of fair play.
Like desperate people in the middle east hoping for a way out of the domination of their government or the occupation of their country or land.
Like black’s in the south during slavery. Hoping to over come and live a dream.
Like people who need to connect with a higher being to help them fined the meaning of life and the reason they are here.
So for this administration to decide to go the religions route like the three that I mentioned just didn’t sound feasible. Why that choice? Well, they knew this worked for Martin Luther King. They knew there is lots of far right Christian in the country. They also new if they promise to change laws to suit them they would get their vote. I don’t know if the far right Christian knew the price they had to pay to change the laws.
But King took the peaceful Christian route to achieve his goals. Many blacks wanted to be more aggressive so the dream would come sooner. Many blacks choose Mohammad. Bush also took the Christian route but his intention was not peaceful. The Bush backers, mostly Jews have no use for Jesus but they do like WAR and they knew to have WAR you need power and to have power you need to own the ballet box. So the Jews didn’t mind using Jesus to achieve their goal. Lots of Christian means lots of votes. Now you may ask how they will make WAR happen now that they got the votes they needed. Bush told us God told him to go to WAR. I guess his God is a military man, maybe a four star general. So I guess some great power gave Bush the gift that doesn’t stop giving, 9/11. This was the opening for the not peaceful route they wanted. To the Bush administration, with congress and the people standing behind them they could do no wrong. Now they became the Christian and the warrior that would protect the American people from the evil one of the week. Pick one…
The far right Christian now has to decide if the Crusade and the cost of it are worth the changing of the laws they don’t like. How much are they willing to pay for pray in the public school, no abortions, no stem cell research and no rights to homosexuals? How many American soldiers are they will to sacrifice for what they want?
The American people will go along where ever this Regime decides to takes us.
The American people will allow them to spend all the money we have siphoned from Education, Health Care, Jobs, Environment and Social Security and spend it all on DEFENCE in the name of Terror. Because America’s claim our security is more important then Education, Health Care, Jobs, Environment, Social Security and Freedom. When we give up Freedom we give up Liberty someone once said. America is now a fighting machine and the only way to change our course is the ballot box and more voices from the citizenry. How bad do we want to get out of the bubble of the Military…

| You know, I was going to apologize to you for William's nonsensical greeting (seems the insane child we keep locked in the attack got loose), and then I saw the little anti-semetic remark tucked into the middle of your article. "The Bush backers, mostly Jews have no use for Jesus but they do like WAR and they knew to have WAR you need power and to have power you need to own the ballet box. So the Jews didn’t mind using Jesus to achieve their goal. " This is the single most ugly comment I have ever read at this site. I hate this administration and what they stand for; but I have much more in common with the hypocritical religious right, the self-serving war-hawks, and the corrupt incompetents running this country into the ground than I do with someone like you who attempts to hide their racism behind words of concern. You just make me sick. Let me show you what my vote is worth. |

| Well this article had me both rattled and confused. When I saw it pop up earlier this evening, I assumed someone had just written it. Then I looked for it a few hours later and couldn't find it. Seems that William resurrected the article with an inane comment, why this one I don't know. The original article was written in January, and had been rightfully ignored since then. I'm still mad as hell, but maybe The Almighty smote this person a long time ago, and that is why we haven't heard anything back. In my comment, I meant to say "attic," not "attack." Guess it doesn't matter anymore. |
