Obama didn't just dodge a bullet by surviving the Rev. Wright fiasco, he fought off an ambush. The untested yet undeterred politician eluded republican hit squads like he was James Bond escaping a Russian nuclear plant. The volatility of the accusations leveled against Obama had the potential of destroying his candidacy. A Zapruder-like film showing Obama in the crowd for one of Wright's inflammatory speeches never surfaced, nor will it. If you think Karl Rove has the tape hidden in a vault somewhere then you really have watched too many 007 flicks.
The notion that a black man running for President in America becoming entangled in a heated controversy over his personal, racial, and political commitment to the U.S. should have knocked him out of the race faster than Jesse Jackson can say "knappy headed ho.
Obama girl is sticking by her man and so is the rest of America.
Thanks to a clutch speech about the comprehensive state of race relations in America Obama will live to fight another battle. The speech proved to be effective and deflective at the same time. According to a NBC/WSJ poll Hillary Clinton, not Obama, is bearing her lowest personal approval ratings since 2001. Obama lost a little support amongst republicans but held steady overall.
Not only do the polls support the likelihood of an Obama primary victory but so do current events. MI and FLA will take their punishment for trying to skip to the front of the line and not hold recounts. The only way the people's votes will count now is if they cast ballots to oust the morons who made the decision to move up their primaries in the first place. This prevents Hillary from running more 3 a.m. advertisements and scaring people into voting for her.
HRC is continuously exposing her character and leadership abilities, or lack thereof, by campaigning for the presidency like a cheerleader and her jock boyfriend trying to win Prom Queen. Hey Hill, if you would've left Rev. Wright's church why didn't you leave Slick Willy?
John McCain is regurgitating the same war platform GW Bush used to get reelected in 2004. Why does he think America will fall for it twice? The American-placed puppet Shiite government is in the midst of staving off a coup from the radical Shiite Mahdi Army. The most powerful man Iraq continues to be anti-American cleric Muqtada Al-Sadr. He won't stop until the US leaves, yet McCain won't leave until Al-Sadr stops? Who has the upper hand in that battle?
US soldiers, or Iraqi policemen as they now refer to themselves, are having an increasingly tough time paying off former Sunni insurgents that were trying to kill them five months ago.
Obama escaped from the rooftop by hanging onto the bottom of a helicopter and riding it all the way to a white sand beach in the Bahamas. He's back on the mainland now, ready to fight the next battle.

Good points all, I am sorry to say. My disenchantment with the Clintons started ever so slightly with the movement of Bill into Poppa Bush and Lady Bush’s mansion. Hilliary has managed to turn it into an avalanche. I am truly sorry about that, but it seems that there has been something there all along that I have not seen. The avalanche is leaving the ground bare and scoured, and open to the sunlight for the first time for me./span>/span>
