The longer Obama and Hillery drag this out the worse it is for the democrats. I wouldn't vote for either one of them after all this hoopla, it kinda shows both of their true colors. It seems that I end up on the republican side more times than not just because the democrats can never seem to answer the simple questions. Bob Toad has a point about Obama retooling the questions to suit himself rather than just giving everyone the simple truth but Hillery isn't much better. Either way I don't think the demacratic party planned this election out very well, it almost seems as though the republicans did the planning for them. Think about it, a black man and a women as far apart on things as they can possible be, focusing all their efforts on destroying the other instead of the issues. I hear a lot about what America wants, that "we" want change. Maybe the young kids out there think change is good but with change comes fear, and the fear of not knowing what a candidate like Obama or Hillery will do to this country is a lot worse than sticking to the path before us. Fear alone will make it so that neither "change" campaign will win, this country is just not ready yet. Many campaigns in the past have chased the young vote but in the end it never amounts to much. You all may think you want change but how often do you really get what you want, and when you finally do it just never seems to work out the way you thought. I'd be careful voting for the "We Want Change" campaign. As the saying goes "be careful what you wish for". Thank you for your time.

| I have some questions for you Mr. Backman. In your opinion: 1) What are Obama's true colors? 2) What are Hillary's true colors? 3) What are McCain's true colors? I have more, but that would be a good start. |

| All this dirty laundry may actually benefit the Democrats.....as very little about Johnny Mac is newsworthy and elections are still a long ways off, in media terms....

| Mr. Backman, I agree with a lot of your statements. In particular, I think you are dead on with "The longer Obama and Hillery drag this out the worse it is for the democrats, " and "the demacratic party planned this election out very well, it almost seems as though the republicans did the planning for them," and "change is good but with change comes fear." Of course I don't agree with your conclusion that you will not vote for either, because the path that lies before us most certainly goes off a cliff. Worse comes to worse, I'd rather roll the dice for change. I also think that most of the vehemence in the Democratic race comes not from Obama and Clinton being so far apart on the issues, but the opposite. They are so close to each other on so many issues, that the easiest way to gain traction over the other is the personal attack and addressing the non-issues. This is so anti-democratic at its core that it is pulling the Democratic party apart. |

| So, does John McCain understand anything about foreign policy, Islam, Al Queda or terrorism? I only ask, because the old fart has twice gotten his Republotard Talking Points Chocolate stuck in a big jar of Factual peanut butter.

View this Comment Obama--skirt the issues rather than discuss them, avoid questions with meaningless answers, and politics first... people and beliefs not even on the list. Hillery-- do whatever it takes to win, degrade your opponent, if that doesn't work than lie. McCain-- I never said he showed his true colors because he isn't bad mouthing his own party, but he seems to be fair and he's not afraid to tell people what he thinks and he actually answers the questions put before him, he has a realistic opinion on the war situation and doesn't try to sugar coat what needs to be done. Is there a reason that you couldn't go find these things out on your own Indie? |
