Even Tiger Woods would find it tough to play golf on a course with an 18 foot wall through the middle of it. Call it an unnatural hazard in the ill-fated attempts being made by the US Government to solve the countries immigration issues.
A proposal's been passed to build a Border Wall along the Texas-Mexico border. The wall will use eminent domain to claim land provided to families by the King of Spain in the 18th century but will not interfere with a golfer's tee shot.
Proposed construction plans leave huge gaps in the Wall so it won't intrude on golf courses, vacation resorts or rich people.
Sadly, Clinton and Obama were "mislead by the Bush administrations intentions" and voted for this bill.
A reporter from the Texas Observer went down to the towns being affected by the Border Wall. She talked to a man whose property is side by side with a rich oil guy. The man can see where the wall will stop, just after his land, before the other guy's land begins.
Whatever thoughts you have on illegal immigration or whether or not to publicly finance the worlds largest handball courts, you have to agree that this proposal should be stopped.
The reporter was told by the Dept. of Homeland Security that all documents about the construction were classified so the terrorists crossing the border wouldn't know how to plan for it.
This plan should work, I mean it's harder to learn how to play golf than it is to fly a plane, right?

Perhaps they should have done a little homework before voting? Is that too much to expect out of a sitting Senator? Yet another reason to not vote for either one, they make decisions without educating themselves on the subjects on which they vote...
