Being a Husband, father of 3 and the only one bringing home a paycheck, health insurance for my family has always been a concern of mine.  Our annual income came just over the threshold of having the option to get Government Assistance.  There were a few other programs available but none seemed to satisfy our coverage needs.  For more information about the programs available you may want to visit www.low-insurance.org/top/low-cost-health-insurance-arizona/

I found www.ehealthinsurance.com to be very helpful in comparing rates for health insurance.  Prior to completing a whole application, I was able to compare rates between major companies like United Health Care and Aetna.  To afford health insurance, I had to take on a plan with a high deductible and $30 doctor visits.  Even though its not the greatest plan, I can afford it and at least I know I have the Family covered.  Health insurance also has it's way of insuring your credit.  I took my youngest in for a check up.  $150 later it turned out she only had a cold.  This bill was in collections faster than I could take a nap during some free time.
