As we promote and push democracy around the world, we ought to make an objective evaluation of how we preach and practice democracy - here at home. And, as part of that objective evaluation, we ought to ask ourselves some difficult questions, openly and aggressively, to insure that we have a well-informed understanding of a democratic form of government.

For example, here are some practical and relevant questions:

- Are we, as a democratic country, fully in control of our destiny, or are the Big Corporations (BCs) - especially those in the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) - utilizing our politicos and the tools of government to cushion thier already inflated bottom lines?

-  As the constitution provides, are we the people fully in control of our government, or are the BCs - with their generous "contributions" - in full control?

- Are our political leaders, from the President down, leading us to the brink of bankruptcy - both financially and morally - in their search for profits for the BCs by promoting confrontation and war, instead of resolving disputes through the United Nations - all in the name of democracy and freedom and/or to fight terrorism?

- Since when we invade a country to then plant the seeds of democracy and freedom, as we are doing in Iraq?

- After 2000 deaths of our sons and daughters in Iraq, about 15,000 seriosly injured, and about $250 Billion Dollars of taxpayers money already spent, do you still believe that we should continue the occupation of Iraq, which instead of winning the peace is re-energizing our enemies for an indefinite and unpredictable time?  

- Have we learned anything from the Palestinians and Jewish people who have been fighting for about 37 years after Israel invaded and occupied the Palestinian homeland?

- If our intentions in Iraq are to prepare the people of Iraq to govern themselves, and then for us to get out, why have we built the largest Embassy of the U.S. in a foreign soil, and why are we building military bases across Iraq, apparently to continue controling its resources and extending its domination? 

- If America was invaded and occupied would you blame everyone of us for fighting to the last drop of blood for our freedom?

- Have we allowed the dollar to become the Mighty God of our lives, or have the 10 Commandments failed to control our hearts and actions?

- Have you noticed that most of the major-recently-passed legislation by Congress, and policy decision implemented by the Executive Branch, are done to improved the bottom lines of BCs, and the very rich, and not for the benefit of the American people, as in the cases of energy legislation, the recent Medicare "reform", the last four tax reductions, etc.?

- What ever happened to the Americam Media and its investigating powers and resources to right wrongs and improve our democracy?

- Are we Americans hipnotized by so much corruption, lies, and dirty politics?

- Are you willing to fight for our democratic principles and get rid of the politicians who put money and self-advantage ahead of ethical service to the people who elected them?

- Are you ready and armed with your vote send a strong message to the politicians who are destroying our democratic way of life next November 2006?  So help you God!...
