Alex's Cafe, 2410 W. Bell Rd. Phoenix 602-843-1195
They opened a few months ago and seem to have everything going for them. A large menu of items for breakfast, lunch and dinner at very good prices with great tasting foods. The dinning area is very clean, newly remodeled and non-smoking. The service when I was there couldn't have been any better. This is a Mom and Pop place with home cooking flavor of American and Mexican dishes at prices you can't believe. Breakfast specials starting for under $3, they also have kid's meals for the families. If you find better food at a lower price in a clean remodeled dining area - let me know. Alex's is located at 2410 W. Bell Rd. on the north side of Bell just east of the I-17 exit. Sorry I don't know their hours, however I think they open at 6am. 602-843-1195
Well my wife and I stopped back for dinner tonight and tried a couple of items, broasted chicken and cicken fried steak @ $6.49 and $7.49. The two items eaten were ok for the money, value = quality in this case. The service was good and as before the café was very clean and smoke free. They don’t have any smoking area and for me, that’s ok! On my second visit to Alex’s, I have to give them a strong 10 points for clean dining areas and restrooms, another 10 points for service. However the food value for your buck gets about an 8 pointer. Don’t misunderstand me, I will be back and eat here again, however it would more likely be breakfast or lunch items. The flavor of the food items are equal to the value you pay for the food.
I did find out that they are open M – S 6am to 9pm, and on Sunday 7am to 9pm.
