A final thought before voting day.

The co chairperson of the AZ Green Party said that I need to run a positive campaign and I agree. I am positive that I am the better candidate for CD2. I am positive that for CD2 that I will get more done than the previous representative. What is missing in my district is positive representation and I plan to give it, positively.

I will fight for a cleaner environment in AZ. We will not have uranium mining outside one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

I will fight for keep social security out of the hand of private companies. We don’t need any more Lincoln Thrift and I am positive about that.

I will fight to achieve a solution to the immigration problem - Once and for all. I am positive about that.

I will fight to make Arizona to be the green capitol of the world and the jobs to boot.

I will fight for affordable healthcare for everyone and lower cost of medication.

I will fight for the rights of life in the beginning and the end for all: Decisions to be kept out of the hands of insurance companies.

I will fight for the freedom of choice by the people who decision it should be.

I will fight for the rights of mankind to live the best life possible and I am positive about that.

Remember - I work for all Americans and not the chosen few. Crum for Congress. I am positive about that.

Nice talking points / stump speech.

It even seemed to have good grammar.

Instead of "I am positve about" try "I'm positive about..." or "You can be sure of that." - something that sounds better or clearer. I am reads well, but doesn't sound good.

Read Lakoff or Luntz for more ideas.

Also try searching for Lakoff on the nets, or think progress's site - they got good stuff on word smithing.

I believe it is impossible to win an election if NO ONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE. If you couldn't impress the 10 people on this site enough to vote for you, that should be a tell that you are wasting your time.

The 4 people standing by you in your picture can only vote in Iowa caucuses so they wont be much help to you in Arizona.

Your motivation baffles me. You remind me of a guy that buys a 49 ford with intentions of restoring it but lets it set in his driveway till the day he dies. Don't start a job you can't finish don't start a project you can't fund don't give your family false hope.

Examination of public records revealed the following:

Living with you are at least two registered voters. One could not vote for you in the primary and the other didn’t bother to vote. Your wife is registered as a Democrat and as such could not participate in the Green Party primary. Your daughter is a registered as an Independent but did not vote.

How can you believe the general populace will vote for you when your immediate family doesn't?

You really need to update your prescriptions and discover reality.

Well actually, this is the ONLY election that William will win in this election cycle. All four candidates in CD2 ran unopposed. The results with all 214 of 214 precincts reporting were:

Republican Trent Franks received 47,372 votes.

Democrat John Thrasher received 23,639 votes.

Libertarian Powell Gammill received 159 votes.

Green William Crum received 74 votes.

To give this some perspective the results for El Mirage City Council included only 4 of those precincts. One of these four precincts is William's home precinct, so he isn't from Surprise as claimed but really El Mirage.

Bill Conner received 714 votes.

Roy del Gado received 689 votes.

Hubert "Hugh" Flisyn received 319 votes.

James McPhetres received 556 votes.

David Shapera received 550 votes.

The bottom of list and loser for City Council received 431% the number of votes that William received. Despite this miserable showing, he will appear on the November ballot and Voters' Pamphlet. The costs associated with this ego trip are paid for by the taxpayers. If he really wanted to lower the tax burden, he would withdraw from the race, given that his chances for election are exactly the same as the sun rising in the West.
